Michael W. Entz, Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining Cosmo Specialty Fibers, Michael W. Entz was Mill Manager at NewPage Escanaba from April 2008. He joined NewPage Corporation in November 2006 as Mill Manager for NewPage Corporation’s Wickliffe, Kentucky, operations. Prior to that, he was Plant and General Manager at Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation mills in Hodge, Louisiana, and had worked at Smurfit-Stone’s Brewton, Alabama, and Carthage, Indiana, mills. Prior to that, he was employed at Smurfit-Stone’s Fernandina Beach, Florida, mill as Employee Relations Manager, and at its West Point-Pepperell mill in Lindale, Georgia, as Director of Employee Relations. Mr. Entz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Auburn University, in Auburn, Alabama.
James E. Smith, Mill Manager
Prior to working at Cosmo Specialty Fibers, Smith began his 30-year pulp and paper career at Smurfit Stone progressing from Superintendent of Electrical and Instrumentation, to General Manager at three mills – most recently in Jacksonville, Florida and Los Angeles, California. Jim has a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Jim joined the Cosmo team in October 2010, and participated in the Mill commissioning process prior to becoming Mill Manager in April 2011.
Larry Davis, Director of Fiber Resources
With over 30 years’ experience in the forest industry, Davis comes to Cosmo Specialty Fibers from Rayonier at Fernandina Beach, Florida where he was Director of Business Development. While at Rayonier, Davis started as Manager, Wood Procurement Support, progressing through to Manager of Land Marketing and Sales, and Director, Eastern Forest Resources. Prior to joining Rayonier, Davis held various positions at Champion International and then International Paper. Larry Davis holds an MS in Forest Economics from Mississippi State University and a BS in Forestry from Louisiana Tech University.
Regina G Wyse, Chief Financial Officer
Regina Wyse joined Cosmo Specialty Fibers from US Corrugated Inc., in Newark, New Jersey, where she was Controller and Divisional Controller. Prior to that, she rose through a number of positions at Smurfit Stone Container Corporation including Director of Corporate Accounting, Division Controller Box Board Mill, Financial Project Leader, Vice President Enterprise Integration, and Vice President/Division Controller. Ms. Wyse is a licensed CPA with a BS in Accounting from Drexel University, and Executive Leadership Courses at Washington University in St Louis, MO.
